On the 2nd and 3rd of May, joined by Joel Roos, we jumped on our bikes and started the first cycling trip with the cape2cape team. Joel Roos will join us for the first 4 months of our journey. We cycled from Lucerne towards Sarnen and afterwards over the Brünigpass, to later camp in the Hasliberg area. The weather was quite bad, so we could finally test our rain gear. On the second day, we followed a bike path to the Sustenpass street to Innertkirchen. Not long after, we reached lake Brienz, followed by Lake Thun. In Spiez we took the train back to Lucerne.
Conclusion: The basic equipment is satisfying- we just need some trivialities.
